My name is Pat Deegan. Like you, I have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. Especially in the early days of my recovery, I experienced challenges in getting good sleep. At times, my sleep challenges made it hard to be alert during the day and to do the important things that mattered to me. But since discovering my Personal Medicine, I have the tools and know-how to keep sleep challenges from disrupting my life.
This Guide is not for folks diagnosed with sleep disorders. Rather, it will benefit those of us who experience sleep challenges related to stress and the work of recovery.
